Walnut Wood

Color and Appearance:
The heartwood of walnut can vary from a light pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with deeply tinted streaks. Secondary colors can sometimes have a gray, purple, or reddish plaster.

Grain and Texture:
The grain of walnut is generally straight, but can be irregular, especially in this regarding the burl, the crotch and the curly variants. The texture is uniform, with a moderate natural luster.
